(SiH₂NH) + 2H₂O = (SiO₂) + NH3 + 2H₂ => formation of inorganic glass
BRILA Glass Coating is an inorganic glass coat which protects the painted surfaces of the vehicle from damaging UV light, acid rain, and prevents the adhesion of dirt, industrial fallout, contaminants, bird droppings, and bug particles. The long-lasting protection and hydrophobic properties of BRILA Glass Coating eliminates the need to wax your vehicle.
High hydrophobic water-repellency
- Water beads have a contact angle of 110°.
Excellent antifouling capabilities
- Paint protection is achieved with a glass coating
that is both tough and flexible.
Car’s value & beauty is maintained
- Value and beauty is maintained because the
paint is not degraded by UV light. Because
paint itself is soft and has a few microns of
unevenness, dirt, road tar, contaminants, and
industrial fallout adhere to the paint easily.
BRILA Glass Coating levels out the painted
surface, preventing the adhesion of such
contaminants.
Super UV test (accelerated weathering test)
- Testing machine: Eye Super UV Tester made by Iwasaki Electric.
- Degree of illumination: 100m W/cm2 (300-
400nm)
- Temperature: 83℃.
- Humidity: 70 percent.
- Test time: 100 hours (equivalent 3-year
exposure to UV light)
Cares to ensure high quality of finishing:
- After washing, the vehicle is carefully checked
the scratches, dents, and stains. All wheels are
covered by plastic sheet to prevent body
coating solvents, etc from applying carelessly.
- The painted surfaces are prepared/degreased
by iron oxide remover, clay bar, and pure water
to ensure th surface as flat/clean as possible.
A three (3) layer process which consists of
base-conditioning, glass coating solvent, and
top coating solvent, is applied.
